Lipscomb/Vanderbilt Nursing Partnership
Students from all across the country and around the world are coming to Nashville to be a part of the Nursing Program at Lipscomb University. The program, which started in Fall 2004, combines the best of two institutions nationally recognized for excellence -- Lipscomb's health sciences program and the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Students have the added value of studying in Lipscomb's Christian context and VUSN's professional and clinical courses. The result? A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lipscomb -- and the best possible preparation for success, service and ministry as a professional nurse.
Students entering the program will take their first five semesters of coursework at Lipscomb. The remaining three semesters of nursing courses and clinical work will be provided by Vanderbilt. Students who successfully complete the program will earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lipscomb University. The partnership is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
